Sharon Oliver has had extensive strategic and operational knowledge of the School Admissions & Appeals process, for over 25 years. For a number of years, she managed a central Admissions Dept for a successful multi academy trust (MAT). Since becoming a consultant in 2015 she has supported a number of schools with guidance and training on school admission and appeals compliance and has presented at a number of School Admission & Appeal training/conference events. She manages the School Admission Appeals process for a number of MATs and has a pool of independent school admission appeal panelists who have been trained to ensure that appeal hearings are carried out within the statutory regulations. Until 2022 she was a Chair of Governors for a primary school and a member of the Croydon School forum.
Sharon is working with colleagues who have experience of the school admissions and appeals area. All are trained to advise schools and parents in the education admissions and appeals process, policies and procedures; with a track record across a number of London Boroughs, MATs, serving on governing bodies and senior management teams.
We fully understand the pressures that schools face in the current climate, extensive workloads, constantly changing priorities, and the need to keep abreast of all statutory requirements can leave management teams feeling daunted.
Our aim is to use our expertise to support schools with guidance and training in School Admission and Appeal compliance.
